Ella Lloyd makes her Formula Winter Series debut with Rodin Motorsport

Ella Lloyd celebrates her debut in the Formula Winter Series. The British driver will line up for Rodin Motorsport at the events in Motorland Aragon and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Rodin Motorsport, the New Zealand sports car manufacturer participates in the Formula Winter Series for the first time. The event at Circuito de Jerez was the first event and the first races under the new name, with the team entering two cars. Countless future Formula 1 drivers went through the team’s school. For example, Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris won championships with the team from the current Formula 1 field. Current Formula 1 drivers Carlos Sainz Jr, George Russell, Yuki Tsunoda, Kevin Magnussen and Logan Sargeant also competed for the team in junior series.

For Lloyd, the Formula Winter Series will be her debut in formula racing. So far, she has only competed in national Ginetta championships in her native Britain. In 2023, she finished second in the GT5P class of the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship. In 25 rounds of the season, she took ten wins in the class with her Ginette.
