Maffi Racing attacks in Formula Winter Series

Maffi Racing was founded in 2021. In addition to Formula 4 racing, the team also competes in karting. However, the foundations of the team from Switzerland date back to the 1960s, when company founder Giorgio Maffi took part in races in Ethiopia. His sons Roberto, Daniel and Cristian followed in his footsteps and contested the only city race to date in Addis Ababa in 1993, before also focussing on rallies in the African country.

The team, based in Geneva in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, has been competing in Formula 4 races since 2022. In winter 2024, the team will take part in the Formula Winter Series for the first time.

Swiss driver Nathanael Berreby, who has roots in Panama, will compete for the team in the highly competitive racing series.

Berreby completed an extensive test year in the Maffi Racing car in 2023 and tested on a variety of racetracks. However, he will make his racing debut in the Formula Winter Series. In the summer months, the Swiss driver will compete in the Italian championship and the FIA CEZ F4.
