Oleksander Savinkov and Emanuele Olivieri compete for AKM Motorsport

AKM Motorsport from San Marino will be competing in the Formula Winter Series again this year. Marco Antonelli’s racing team has enjoyed success in GT racing, one-make cups and even hill climbs and rallies during its existence! The team also promotes young talent in Formula 4.

AKM Motorsport took part in the inaugural season of the Formula Winter Series back in 2023. The team took part in the first two race weekends with Carl Bennett and Tina Hausmann. Hausmann in particular, who will compete as an Aston Martin Junior driver in the F1 Academy this year, impressed with a podium finish at the season opener in Jerez!

In winter 2024, the racing team will return to the racing series run by GEDLICH Racing and will be competing with two interesting drivers! The 15-year-old Ukrainian Oleksander Savinkov will compete for the racing team in the racing series. The Italian Emanuele Olivieri will be the second driver to start for the team.

Savinkov will be making his debut in motor racing in the Formula Winter Series, having previously only competed in karting. During the summer months, he will compete in the Italian Formula 4 and Euro4, for which the Formula Winter Series will prepare him perfectly. Olivieri will also make his Formula 4 debut in Jerez – the godchild of three-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Dindo Capello will compete in the Italian Formula 4 this summer.
